Divers are not required to spearfish, but hunting is the object of the trip. Trip is limited to 6 divers. Sites for this trip may include one or more of the following: wrecks, man-made reefs (holding an enormous number and variety of fish) or natural reefs. Depths are 45' to 85' and the experience level is advanced. Florida fishing license is required. Use of computer (not provided) and Nitrox certification is required. Nitrox can be used to extend your bottom time or as an additional safety measure while utilizing your air tables or air computer. Upon successful completion of this course, graduates are considered competent to utilize Nitrox mixtures up to 40% (oxygen content) in open water activities without direct supervision, provided the diving activities and the areas dived approximate those of training.
