This course is to provide the diver with the information necessary to utilize Enriched Air Nitrox (EANx) as a breathing medium. Nitrox can be used to extend your bottom time or as an additional safety measure while utilizing your air tables or air computer. Upon successful completion of this course, graduates are considered competent to utilize Nitrox mixtures up to 40% (oxygen content) in open water activities without direct supervision, provided the diving activities and the areas dived approximate those of training.
